Aqua (アクア, Akua^?) is a male clownfish Jewelpet who represents Satisfaction and Calmness.

Appearance

Aqua is a naturally colored clownfish with an orange body, a white stripe on his back and black tips on his fins and tail. His Jewel Eyes are made out of blue aquamarines. For his attire, he wears a chain of blue aquamarine jewels around his head.

Charm Form

Aqua's Jewel Charm is an orange oval shape decorated with strings of blue pearls and a blue shell embedded in the middle. It is also decorated in white-gold trimmings.

Personality

According to the official website, Aqua is depicted as a curious and peculiar Jewelpet.

In Jewelpet and Jewelpet Twinkle☆, Aqua is helpful and kind who's prone to sudden fury attacks whenever someone claims that he's a goldfish. He seems to lose his propensity for anger in later series, although that could be attributed to his minor character status.

Aqua often ends his sentence with the word "gyo".

Skills

In Aqua's official setting in the franchise, he represents Satisfaction. As the Jewelpet of Satisfaction, his magic can make humans understand what they have is sufficient and feel pleasant about it. Also being the Jewelpet of Calmness, Aqua has the ability to dissipate angry feelings in the vicinity. In Jewelpet and Jewelpet Twinkle☆, he mainly has the power of the latter.

He is also capable of jumping out of the aquarium and preforming aerial tricks with enough momentum.

History

In Jewelpet

Aqua makes his debut in episode 21. Naoto is cursed by Diana into reliving the anger management issues he had as a child, causing him to become violent. After he successfully uses his condition to defend Aoi from some thugs, Aqua appears to him and heals him, becoming his partner.

In Jewelpet Twinkle☆

Aqua appears in episode 22. In the episode, Akari and her friends go to the beach and go underwater for an exam. They meet Aqua, who is the guardian of the sea. He tries to keep the ocean floor clean and protect people from its dangers.

In Jewelpet Sunshine

Aqua is the partner of Fukaet from an underwater kingdom, and he tries to defend her from Utsuborg.

In Jewelpet Kira☆Deco!

Aqua appears briefly to narrate episode 15.

In Jewelpet Happiness

Aqua forms a Magic Gem with Mutsumi Mochida in episode 29.
