Synopsis[]
Rinko's parents are so lovey-dovey its embarrassing but after watching a movie they suddenly started fighting! Rinko just wants them to get along again. What could be wrong?
Plot (Spoilers)[]
Rinko is embarrassed by her parents being so lovey-dovey and liking to reenact movie scenes from movies they have recently seen with romantic moments. Every month on the 22nd there is a couples day at the local movie theater which her parents always go to. Diana puts a curse on the theater's movie showing on the couples day to make all the couples angry with each other. This is to find the Jewelpet for harmony and family love. Couples all over town including Rinko's parents get angry with each other for seemingly no reason.
Rinko's parents argue again and again at home over petty things. When Rinko used to resent her parents being so in love she now just wants them to make up again. Rinko and her friends go to investigate the movie theater since it all seems to be connected to the movie which was shown. They find out the movie has been banned from showing now because of all the couples fighting after watching it. Her friends suggest to Rinko to ask each parent how they feel and it turns out they want to make up with each other. Rinko tries to set up a make up moment between them by telling them they gave each other flowers but then the flowers rot in front of them and they argue again.
Rinko remembers when they last had a big fight when she was young she played a piano tune which made them make up again. Rinko plays the piano tune and it seems to be working. A Jewel charm appears and the herb thieves try to distract them with lemon milk. However, Ruby and Rinko do their Jewel opening spell anyway and Emerald-kun the Jewelpet of harmony and family love appears. He uses his magic and breaks the curse so Rinko's parents are lovey-dovey once more.
