Synopsis[]
Hisashi is practicing hard for the upcoming interschool match, but his dedication may be for nothing when Diana curses him and the rest of the kendo club into becoming lazy and unmotivated.
Plot (Spoilers)[]
Rinko and Ruby are woken up early by Miyamoto doing exercises for an upcoming swordmanship competition. Minami is also happy to help him and his team win. Diana and the herb thieves are at it again as Diana casts a spell to curse Miyamoto and his team with laziness and a lack of motivation. Rinko and Ruby sleep well but soon are told by Minami about Miyamoto's sudden change in attitude. The competition comes up and still the whole team has no motivation and doesn't even turn up so Minami pretends to be a boy so she can take his place until he arrives. Rinko seeing the effort and hope poor Minami has for Miyamoto drives her to want to help. Rinko drags Miyamoto to the match to see her trying for him in the hopes it will encourage him. He still tries to leave so Garnet scratches his face in anger.
Finally Miyamoto gets a glimpse of Minami on her last legs at the competition and Garnet tells him she is doing it for him. He also sees her do his own special technique he made in training before the curse. Both of these things finally hits Miyamoto in the heart and a new Jewelpet appears. The Jewelpet of sports Chite. He casts his magic and breaks Diana's curse on Miyamoto. Miyamoto's new vigor causes him to see the herb thieves as the cause of Minami's suffering so he beats them up. However, Miyamoto accidentally lets it slip that Minami is a girl and so they are disqualified from the competition anyway. Despite losing the competition, lessons were learned and all are happy its over. Ruby then tells Miyamoto to train at the house of the government secretary Tatewaki instead so they can finally sleep well.
