History

As first mentioned in EP34 by Raku Majo, the Jewel Eight are a small group of Jewelpets that were traveling in a boat some years ago. As they never returned, the Four Great Magicians organized a search party but the Jewelpets were never found. It was assumed that they, unfortunately, ended up in the Devil's Strait awful triangle, one of the most dangerous place in Jewel Land, where their ship sank. In EP34, Raku Majo celebrates Nix's return as "the only known survivor of the Devil's Strait awful triangle". She quickly learns after, that the Jewel Eight were found and were now in the possession of Dian.

Dian's Abilities

Dian has the ability to open Jewel Charms. By doing so, he can cast a spell on the Jewelpet, cursing them with the mark of a cat's paw. The curse slightly changes their appearances and reverses the effect of their powers to cause trouble.

Story

To recover all the Jewel Eight, Rinko and Ruby's team must compete against Diana and Dian's team during the Jewel Games. If Ruby's team wins, they win one of the Jewel Eight back. If Dian's team wins, he wins Rinko.
