Kaiya (カイヤ, Kaiya^?) is a female Siamese cat Jewelpet who represents Decisiveness and Independence.

Appearance

Kaiya is a naturally colored Siamese cat with a light ash brown body, brown paws, ears and heart-shaped tail. Her Jewel Eyes are made out of dark blue kyanites. For her attire, she wears a golden crown on her head with a blue kyanite jewel in the middle and a white pearl necklace with a blue rose-shaped kyanite jewel attached around her neck.

Charm Form

Kaiya's Jewel Charm is oval-shaped, mostly colored teal along with several light blue kyanites and white decor.

Personality

According to the official website, Kaiya is usually described as elegant and quite prideful of herself.

In Jewelpet Twinkle☆, she can be seen as quite a snob and extremely loyal to her partner, Marianne Grand Maniel Chocola Julliangeli.

Skills

As the Jewelpet of Decisiveness, Kaiya's magic allows humans to make decisions without hesitation or doubts. Also being the Jewelpet of Independence, her power can free humans from anyone's control and give them the courage to leave their masters and go on their own path. In Jewelpet, Kaiya wields the power of the latter, while in Jewelpet Twinkle☆ she has the former.

History

In Jewelpet

Kaiya is the partner of the Phantom Herb Thieves member Mint. Through her power of Independence, she helps her and the other two members gather up the courage to betray their leader Diana and find a better life.

In Jewelpet Twinkle☆

Kaiya is the partner of Marianne Grand Maniel Chocola Julliangeli and goes against Ruby in a cooking challenge to prove which magic school is the best. She considers Ruby as her main rival.

In Jewelpet Sunshine

Kaiya is a senior from Garnet's lesson studio. She hosts a karaoke party and is known as the "Queen of Group Dates", because of her proficiency at setting up such dates.

In Jewelpet Happiness

Kaiya is a famous model for a magazine named Lovely Pet. She teaches Nene, Ruruka, Chiari and the Jewelpets of the Jewelpet Café to find their inner beauty. She eventually forms a Magic Gem with Nene.

• Kaiya's jewel motif is the kyanite, a blue silicate mineral commonly found in aluminium-rich metamorphic pegmatites and/or sedimentary rock. The name comes from the Greek word kuanos, sometimes referred to as "kyanos", meaning deep blue.
