Marianne Grand Mariner Chocola Julliangeli (マリアンヌ・グランマニエル・ショコラ・ジュリアンジェリー Mariannu Guranmanieru Shokora Jurianjerī?) is Kaiya's human partner and Akari's rival in the serie. She's a member of the Magical Angels, referred as the "Celebrity Angel" and the elder of her two sisters. She's a candidate of the Jewel Star Grand Prix who has collected all 12 Jewel Stones in the Excellent Magic Academy school of Jewel Land where she study with her sisters. She first appeared in the end of episode 15 along with her two sisters, and formally debuted in episode 16. She has a strong crush on Leon (she and her sisters met him in the Rarerare world) and despises the newbie students who were too weak on their studies. She thinks Leon is paying too much attention to Akari, Miria and Sara, causing her to get jealous of them, especially Akari. Despite her personality, her magic skills is above average since she already has 12 Jewel Stones.

- Marianne's Japanese voice actress, Rie Kugimiya, is known for her voicing tsundere characters. She's also nicknamed as "Queen Of Tsundere".
