Sometimes I'm not sure about these cases since they technically did not made any contributions to the wiki. There are users who make one or two random rambling and doesn't continue later on, which is a least concern. It's hard to judge whether they just want to express themselves for the franchise, but then again the comments are getting inflated.
But that description sounds really disturbing, especially since this is kids wiki. I'll go deal with it and then I'll keep a close eye on them. But unless they do something crazy, then there's nothing I can do since they're not "disruptive".
I wanted to know why some episode were written on the wiki and some were not. In some season like Twinkle or Sunshine nearly half of the episode weren't written yet. I want to add them by myself but i lack of skill and knowledge in doing so. Since you're admin i suggest that you or someone else should complete it. That's the least thing we can do for now and that's all i want to ask. Thank you.
Thank you for the concern. I used to write some episodes here a few years back when I became admin, but I've since lost the motivation to do so. Plus, I don't know how to translate Japanese. And I'm under the impression there are fewer cases where I can watch episodes of Jewelpet anime. So that's a problem there. All I can do is skim through my notification emails.
If you want to write it yourself, I suggest taking English classes to learn grammar and how to compose sentences and paragraphs. After learning college-level writing, you can either write the entire plotline (which is time-consuming but widely consistent on most anime wikis) or try to summarize in 3-4 paragraphs.
That's my advice from someone who knows how to write and worldbuild. If you think you can learn and do it, then trust your instincts. Otherwise, you should keep proofreading stuff.
Tks for your advice. I don't know Japanese too but i think i could ask some of my friend to translate it for me or ask someone on this wiki. I tried to translate the episode name on Google but it don't match with the translate on this site so i guess Google is useless in doing these kind of stuff.
I just recently found out that all the episode have been written on wikipedia with the Japanese title, so i think i gonna copy paste it, add more picture and character to make it more informative , but it might take a while to done it.
the user GlorysiaMelodyYT found a fanmade screenshot of a singaporean release for the movie, but is convinced it's real. they keep adding it to the wikia page, despite us trying to explain that it's fake and how we know it's fake. there's back and forth undoing revisions and it's getting quite heated.
for this reason, would you please consider locking the page in its former state, until this situation is sorted out?
They are separate universe. Because each series have different settings. They call it a "metaseries", Where each series have different themes and stories, but still use the same franchise designs and characters.
Multiple sequels can extend the development of characters, but the value could diminish over time. Sometimes it's better start off fresh in a new world, while maintaining the main premises of the franchise.
In short: A Metaseries is about showcasing the franchise's theme in diverse themes and settings.
Take Digimon series for example. They all share the same monster companionship and have the same feeling of friendship and development. Or Pretty Cure; same cute and colorful magical girls in a pure and fun magical girl series for kids.
It's seldom having to combine all these universes into one, because you can't like stuff all universes into one and expect everyone to like it --- It's all in the execution of the story. If I want to enjoy a crossover or a combined universe, I need to see some quality how the characters interact in it.
Maybe they just only put that multi-universe commu nod in JPMC, just for the heck of it. And seeing how that was implemented, guess they needed an excuse for a filled in episode. Because after all, Jewelpet is a media franchise.
The pages Coarumi and Joker need to be deleted because they are seperate pages for the respective characters' alter-egos (Coal and Lady Rector) and are considered repeative of their original selves, same thing you did previously for Dark Dian.
It would've been much better and easier if you made me the current admin of the Jewelpet Wiki, just saying.
I deleted both the pages after some positive assumptions.
But I am not going to give admin status. There's already enough for a slow franchise and I can't just having it see fall into the hands of strict individuals with little tolerance, just like other major and developed wikis.
I appreciate your dedication, but I am still here with an optimistic presence. And I'd like to see it kept that way, helping troubled users (and new ones). Just leave a reason and I'll see to it I process these in a few minutes.
But based on your recent events with others, you tend to react critically on minor incursions and those who are unrefined. Your interactions with other users is mixed. You're a nice person on the outside, but as soon something comes to antagonize you, you put on witty and rude remarks. I'm not going to someone an admin who don't have any tolerance at all, and who can't help others get up to speed with socieity.
The last thing I want to see is a slow kids franchise being run by a non-responsible being and minimizing the "minority." I've seen too much authority like this on the internet.
I honestly have to disagree. Sure, I was a little strict, but that's because I cannot stand comments that have nothing to do with Jewelpet in general; WonderfulPets always comments non-stop and I wanted to block her for that. Commenting on pages all the time is against the rules in my opinion.
Someday, you'll grow old, and I am currently a young adult; I'm also an experienced user to be at least considered an admin. You have to understand.
this person is an alternate account of Infinitewisdom12 (admitted it themself), and they post very inappropriate spam blogs on various wikis. their old account was banned from fandom as a whole, so they created a new one to continue the spam. i suggest blocking them from this wiki if you can.
Sorry if this seems a bit inappropriate, but I would like to request for a rollback role.
I'm not editing as frequently as HarmonyBunny, but I think I'm kinda an active editor too. The reason I want the rollback role is that to gain the convenience to rename pages/upload new version of images. Sometimes I feel the need to rename pages when the titles have spelling mistakes or contain unneeded caps. I also upload pics, but sometimes would think that another version of the same pic is better than the uploaded one (like the recent Donadona renders I uploaded). With the role I can avoid duplicated images.
I don't even know what to think about the image galleries. There's a lot of surprlus images being added and I feel it's going to show like scenes from *every* episodes. And I can't even tell which is "necessary", even if I know what a spoiler is, actually.
But...back on topic. People nowadays keep neglecting the summary description, so I have NO idea what Carlos' is even doing. And that is a problem because he isn't saying "why." So I suppose I should just make an inquiry why he's doing it before this starts another flame war.
