Retsu Akagi (赤城 烈 Akagi Retsu?) is a major character from Jewelpet Kira☆Deco!. He is the leader of the KiraDeco 5 and Angela's human partner.
Appearance[]
Retsu is slightly shorter than Blue. He has flaming red hair and murky red eyes, and his usual outfit consists of a red leather jacket with rolled up sleeves and a black sleeveless shirt underneath that has orange straps, two black wristbands, green army trousers cinged by a white belt and brown and black mountain boots.
Personality[]
Retsu is hot blooded, full of courage and confidence. He's obsessed with training himself and always thinks in the ultra-positive side for the whole group. He treats his brother Midori like a little kid who can't fend for himself. Retsu is very oblivious, ignoring the fact that Midori resents him, and that even though he considers Blue Knight his rival, Blue has never recognized him as one. His codename is "Burning Red".
Since Retsu believe himself to be the personification of justice, he can't even fathom when things are his fault.[1]
Biography[]
Retsu was born in the Gunma Prefecture. Midori is his little brother and KiraDeco 5 teammate.
Retsu was the very first member of the KiraDeco 5 team created by Professor Decorisky.
When Retsu and his brother was younger he gotten Midori lost but failed to realise it was his own fault [2][3]so Midori hated and resented him for it.
In JKD48 after falling for a trick by Kaiser he’s refusal to admit it was his fault for losing Midori on Mt. Akagi and Kaiser convincing him that his brother hate him lead to Retsu becoming corrupt by Kaiser. It was only with Angela help that he was freed as well as acknowledging it was his fault that Midori gotten lost. Afterwards he apologies to Midori for losing him on Mt Akagi.
